Euro Jam goes Crazy!
Hello to all Twisters and a big hello to those that aspire to Twist, and an even bigger hello to those that are just looking at our site.
Our Euro Jam is now in its 12th year and has over the years left us with loads of happy memories. Crazy memories too, such as the morning we woke up and went into the Jam Hall to be confronted with scenes from the French Revolution and poor old Marie Antoinette. The scenes twisted from balloons throughout the night by a wonderful bunch of International Twisters. It was truly headless inspiration.
Our Euro Jam was the first Twisting Jam organised by Twisters for Twisters. We feel this is the key to its success, and the foundation stone of our Jam. Our aim is to organise a superb Twisting Event, and as long as we do not make a loss than we have succeeded as we are not in it to make a profit. We have super support from our sponsors, but we are not tied to them.
Sometimes Twisters ask us why we do not have competitions? In order to win, Twisters are not keen to share their skills as it is these skills which have made them unique and possibly a reason why they have won competitions, and we feel this is counterproductive. Some Twisters disagree and that is okay. We want people to share skills with one another in the seminars and Jam Hall as then we all benefit. The Euro Jam is first and foremost a networking event where skill exchange is one of the priorities. We always try and provide a platform for creativity to thrive.
